Before we decide to rebuild a client’s site, we try to evaluate if we think it will have much impact on conversions. Most of the time, we get it right. Sometimes, we do not see the growth we hoped for. In this case study, we are going to highlight 5 websites we rebuilt and the outcomes we’ve seen.
We’re also going to do something that we think most agencies do not do…and that’s highlight a website project that didn’t show any real improvement for the client. It’s really important to take a look at the campaigns that failed so we know how to advise our clients. You can’t just look at the successes to make a decision. Unfortunately, in digital marketing (and all marketing), outcomes are going to vary.
Natural Wellness & Pain Relief Center (NWPRC)
NWPRC came to us to rebuild their site with a modern design. Before the redesign, NWPRC’s website looked more like a printed brochure than a digital experience. While they offered amazing services to their patients, their specialty was lost in the sea of text on the homepage. Also, it wasn’t super clear how they could help patients who worked with them.
After the rebuild, the site adopted a clean, modern layout with spacious design, strong visual hierarchy, and a defined value proposition centered on root-cause healing. Services were broken into clearly organized cards with direct calls to action. Although the clinic hasn’t invested in ongoing SEO, yet, they’ve seen more leads. They reached out to us to help them with Klaviyo integrations to increase lead volume and automate their follow-up.

Performance Snapshot:
After launch, NWPRC’s conversion rate increased from roughly 1.2% to 2.5%, while bounce rate dropped from 72% to 48%. Average session duration rose from 1.3 to 2.2 minutes, showing deeper visitor engagement even without additional traffic-driving campaigns.
Design & Content Comparison:
| Category | Before Rebuild (2022 Archive) | After Rebuild (Current Site) | Expected Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| Overall Design | Dense paragraphs, minimal white space | Balanced design with strong imagery and modern typography | Improved credibility and readability |
| Hero Section | Generic image, unclear tagline | Clear “Integrative Healing Starts Here” message with CTA | Stronger direction and conversions |
| Navigation | Crowded menu | Simplified structure focusing on core services | Easier access to booking |
| Services | Long text lists | Card layout with summaries and visuals | Better scanning and engagement |
| CTAs | Text links | Buttons with consistent language | Higher form completion |
| Mobile | Cluttered and small text | Fully responsive | More mobile conversions |
So far, the results from the rebuild have been positive. They have been able to convert existing traffic into potential patients because of the clarity of their site.
Premier Health & Wellness
Originally, Premier Health & Wellness came to us for help with their SEO. They were not interested in a rebuild. While our SEO campaign was successful for them, we realized that the site’s poor web core vitals and user experience was keeping them from generating as many leads as they could. Their biggest help with conversions is that they were already a well-established practice in Austin, TX.
Their old website did not showcase their specialities well. The redesign focused on clarity and flow. Also, the client really wanted a unique design. He went with a bento box style header, which has helped his site stand out among his competitors.
Also, when we rebuilt the homepage, we added a concise message that would help visitors know what the clinic’s primary goal was… “Optimal health begins with balanced hormones,” and a bold CTA visible above the fold. Navigation was simplified, and all service pages were rewritten to emphasize benefits rather than procedures. Within weeks of launch, the clinic’s inquiries increased and time-on-page metrics nearly doubled.
Performance Snapshot:
Conversion rates after launch improved from 2.0% to 3.2%, and bounce rate fell by nearly 20%. Mobile sessions became the strongest lead source, with twice as many inquiries submitted from phones compared to the old design.
| Category | Before Rebuild (2022 Archive) | After Rebuild (Current Site) | Expected Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| Overall Design | Overloaded and dated layout | Sleek, modern feel with strong branding | Builds authority and confidence |
| Hero Section | Weak visual hierarchy | Clear statement with dual CTA (Men’s & Women’s Health) | Faster visitor understanding |
| Content | Generic copy | Patient outcome-focused messaging | Emotional connection, higher engagement |
| Services | Long scrolling pages | Split by category (Hormone, MedSpa, Wellness) | Easier to browse, fewer exits |
| Blog | Rarely updated | Integrated wellness blog | SEO and content depth gains |
By pairing strategic copywriting with technical optimization, Premier Health & Wellness quickly reclaimed first-page rankings for “bioidentical hormone therapy Austin” and saw a measurable lift in qualified inquiries.
Heal Functional Medicine
Heal Functional Medicine originally came to us for help with their SEO. Their site was built on a platform that continually had issues. Things were often breaking, and pages were disappearing after we published. Even though the site was built on a less-than-ideal platform, they were seeing big increases in their leads.
The biggest goal behind the rebuild was to create a website that was functional on WordPress, which is optimized for SEO…whereas the other platform lacked.
Our rebuild focused on making it easy to navigate the different services they offered. We wrote additional information for each service so that there was in-depth content for potential patients to read.

Performance Snapshot:
After launch, the conversion rates increased from 1.8% to 2.7%, average session time rose from 1.4 to 2.5 minutes, and bounce rate improved from 70% to 52%. The clinic’s keyword footprint expanded substantially over three months, with several posts ranking for niche terms such as “peptide therapy NJ.”
| Category | Before | After | Expected Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| Messaging | Clinical tone, heavy jargon | Root-cause storytelling, empathetic language | Builds trust and interest |
| Layout | Minimal hierarchy | Clear subheadings, visuals, and internal links | Easier to read and navigate |
| Blog | Absent | Active educational hub | Authority and organic growth |
| Trust Signals | Limited provider info | Prominent clinician bios | Reinforces expertise |
| CTAs | Sparse and generic | Repeated and action-oriented | More form submissions |
Heal’s success demonstrates the power of substance. Even modest technical improvements, when paired with content depth, drive both visibility and conversion.
Link Community Clinic
The Link Community Clinic came to us for a rebuild because they were having a hard time working on their existing website. Their relationship with the previous developer ran its course and they needed a site that they could edit. We built the site with them in mind and created functionality that they could update the site on their own if they wanted to. Also, we created tutorials for them to manage their own updates.
While the primary purpose of the rebuild was to make a website they could edit, their old site design was not converting the way it needed to. One of the biggest issues is that the primary call to action button was linking to a patient portal that required you to login to send a message. We actually updated that link to a contact page with a form before we took the new site live. That immediately helped their office staff with duplicate profiles.
In addition to better call to actions, the redesign focused on showcasing what Link Clinic is all about and its inclusion of everyone in the community. The new site featured inclusive photography, friendly copy, and a simplified booking flow that worked seamlessly on mobile. The result was immediate. Even without ongoing SEO, appointment requests jumped and engagement improved across all devices.

Performance Snapshot:
Conversion rate rose from 1.1% to 2.4%, session duration increased from 1.2 to 2.3 minutes, and bounce rate dropped by more than 25 points.
| Category | Before | After | Expected Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visual Identity | Generic stock images | Inclusive photography and tone | Emotional resonance and trust |
| Hero Section | No CTA | Clear message: “Primary Care for Every Body” with button | Stronger conversions |
| Mobile | Difficult to navigate | Fully responsive | More mobile bookings |
| Contact Flow | Hidden form | Streamlined “Request Appointment” | Simplified conversion path |
Link’s rebuild proved that intentional design alone, without any SEO campaign, can lift conversions when it mirrors a clinic’s real-world warmth and inclusivity.
Therapist Website
We worked with a therapist who only worked with men. When he came to us, he wanted to rebuild his site from the website platform he was on to a WordPress site. His old website was not generating much in the way of organic traffic before the rebuild. Because he had great messaging and a modern-looking website, the rebuild did not have much of an impact on the UX.
The rebuild helped with some user experience, created a faster website, and allowed us to fill in some gaps on his services. However, the rebuild did not create additional leads for him. We didn’t necessarily expect that to happen since he was not getting much in the way of organic traffic with the old website. However, after a year of SEO, he still was not generating leads like he should have.
Performance Snapshot:
Conversion rate held steady at 0.9%, with a minor improvement in session duration (from 1.1 to 1.3 minutes) but minimal change in overall inquiries.
| Category | Before | After | Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| Design | Outdated and text-dense | Clean, visually guided | Improved credibility only |
| Content | Minimal service info | Expanded therapy service pages | Better readability, same reach |
| SEO | No structure | Basic optimization only | Competitive market limited gains |
| Engagement | Low | Slight improvement | Needed ongoing content to sustain visibility |
This was not a successful campaign. While he was left with a functional site that has the potential to convert, the organic traffic did not increase the way we hoped. If he can drive traffic to his site through referrals or other channels, the site is set up for conversions.
Final Insights
Looking across all five projects, a clear pattern emerges. Design alone won’t create demand, but design that removes friction and builds trust will unlock the demand that already exists. That’s why NWPRC and Link Clinic, despite skipping post-launch SEO, still saw conversion lifts. They already had a patient base searching for them; they just needed a website that worked.
In contrast, in competitive markets like therapy and mental health, visibility depends on sustained SEO effort. Our therapist case study showed that. For clinics that combined design, technical optimization, and ongoing content (like Heal FM and Premier Health & Wellness), both visibility and lead quality rose quickly and continued to climb.
These five rebuilds prove that a well-structured, patient-centered website does more than look professional; it becomes an active part of patient acquisition and brand trust.
